the rut?

i was wondering when the rut starts in michigan, i dont get to hunt as often as i would like to but i was wondering if these doe scents are going to work and if the rut is on now or past or hasnt happened yet any help would be great. i hunt in lower michigan allegan area.

Bucks are beginning to chase does. I use Golden Estrus and have had little response yet. Last year the week before gun season I had seven bucks come to my scent bottles. Hope this helps.SLP

Very much on NOW in Van Buren County. Funny how November 15 is just about right for hitting the rut, eh?

Hunted nov 15-18 shot at littlle buck 8am opening morn. did not hit it while looking for blood 2 doe came along shot nice 140lb 2yr old doe to fill that tag.Didnt see any deer on16th on 17th slept in for a few hours bad mistake for a buck walked by my stand within 30 yrds made a scrape and a rub nothing seen on 18th.Friend also shot a doe bucks really scraping and chasing the does.HUNTED MIO FAIRVEW AREA.
