Can I get out on the ice for smelt yet? Hate to drive all that way and have to turn back! Thanks

I called Lyman's this morning at 8am and they said people are still fishing on Higgins and smelt city is the best spot for smelt.

The smelting is beginning to heat up out there.  Some of my buds did pretty well over the weekend.
