Fishing Report:Spent the weekend on the Carp River trying for steelhead, with little luck for my efforts. It seems as though the recent rains have really heavily stained the water with tannic acid and the fish are staying out in the lake now. I did land a beautiful fresh in 9 pound coho salmon but did not catch a steelhead. I will give it a few days to clear up and try it again. Mabey this weekend it will be better.
