Fishing Report:fished 3-14 from daylight until 2:30 pm. two guys - no fish. Water very high and very muddy. full of debris - every thing from leaves and sticks to whole trees. Water is at least 5-6 foot deeper than last weekend. Cancelled my Monday outing. My next trip out will probably be either detroit river or brest bay. feedback on these locations would be nice.» Read more

Fishing Report:Hit a few spots this afternoon pretty good day seen a lot of bass surfacing threw a twister tail and caught a nice 18"lg mouth, also caught a hammerhandle pike and 3 perch on minnows at first spot went to another and got 12 jumbo perch from about 530-630 on minnows. hey gatekeepr if ya would email me im lookin to come up and hit the wall in marrys pretty soon. ufgators77@hotmail.com» Read more

Fishing Report:all ice out of black river now but big chunks still coming out of lake huron into st clair river water pretty dirty city usually puts docks in april 1st suckers should be running soon also the brown trout should be coming in that dnr planted last year cant wait to get boat wet just hooked up new fish finder i got for c-mas.» Read more

Fishing Report:fished 3/11 hog alley 830-300pm got 1 throwback first pass then nothing all day, lots of boats in and out didn't see one net all day, water like chocolate milk with lots of debris flowing down, dont think will clear up by monday, nice day to be on the water and get the boat wet. any info on st clair river/ black river any ice? boats getting out yet?» Read more

Fishing Report:Went out on 3-7-fishing still somewhat slow. managed to boat 8 fish with two guys. yellow jig heads tipped with minnows seemed to produce most fish. Big fish once again around 3.5 pounds. Lost what felt like a brut but who knows. Another fantastic winter day to be on the water.» Read more

Fishing Report:Fished 6 hrs. fri. 3-5 on the tit. 3 guys 0 fish. ran down to saginaw river managed to boat 6 eyes on mostly white jig heads tipped with minnows. Approx. 3.5 lbs for big fish. Great day, fishing could be better but not bad for first time on soft water for the year» Read more

Fishing Report:Made a trip to St Joe Monday with the boat.Fished the Lake in the river plume for a couple hours with no hits before the dense fog rolled in and made it impossible to see anything that wasn't in the boat.The water was fishable-very little floating ice .DNR was writing another boater a ticket when I pulled out so make sure you are legal!!Good luck and c'mon Spring-PS the docks are NOT in the water yet at the State owned ramp so launching is a little tricky-be safe» Read more
