Fishing Report:Went out on 3-7-fishing still somewhat slow. managed to boat 8 fish with two guys. yellow jig heads tipped with minnows seemed to produce most fish. Big fish once again around 3.5 pounds. Lost what felt like a brut but who knows. Another fantastic winter day to be on the water.» Read more

Fishing Report:Fished 6 hrs. fri. 3-5 on the tit. 3 guys 0 fish. ran down to saginaw river managed to boat 6 eyes on mostly white jig heads tipped with minnows. Approx. 3.5 lbs for big fish. Great day, fishing could be better but not bad for first time on soft water for the year» Read more

Fishing Report:Made a trip to St Joe Monday with the boat.Fished the Lake in the river plume for a couple hours with no hits before the dense fog rolled in and made it impossible to see anything that wasn't in the boat.The water was fishable-very little floating ice .DNR was writing another boater a ticket when I pulled out so make sure you are legal!!Good luck and c'mon Spring-PS the docks are NOT in the water yet at the State owned ramp so launching is a little tricky-be safe» Read more

Fishing Report:mr walley what part of the nasty were you fishing i tryed putting in by the z bridge it was still frozen at the launch so we fished the tib with no luck. your buddies were lucky they could have taken everything. some buddies and i got caught in houghton lake last year ice fishing and they took the fish and all the gear. cause we were over our daily limit counting the fish from the day before.nothing that a couple grand wouldn't take care of. but any info on the nasty would be great. like to get out before it ends.» Read more

Fishing Report:good weekend for the walleyes. For every ones info the dnr are watching for out of town fisherman.good friend of mine fished fri-sat-sun and got cought they took the fish and issued tickets.they had there 10 for the day but they had fri-sat catch in the vehicle. » Read more

Fishing Report:I made my last ice fishn trip of the yr yesterday and got out little to late 1130ish by time i got there my friend already had 17 jumbos but as luck would have it they completely shutdown 20 minutes after i got there i did pick up a few nice ones but that was it. The ice was real "shaky" could see open water pockets everywhere n lots of slush so i figured it was retirement for ice fishn so we decided to go hit one of my steelies holes put boat in a little before 6 so didnt have much time to fish and 5 minutes after my line was in i hooked into this 29" beautiful steel ones of prettiest ones ive caught put up a hek of a fight but didnt jump couple big rolls. Great day when u can go on ice n get a few jumbos n than hit open water for a fat steelie be back on water again tomorrow going after his biger brother. good luck all. And i caught the steelie on one of my fav st clair ice perch lures. » Read more

Fishing Report:Hey everyone....I urge you to call Todd's number and then post back to gatekeeper to quit blowing smoke. The number is correct and was originally posted on the 18th of Feb, two days after Todd lost his auger. If gatekeeper is so concerned about getting the equipment back to its rightful owner he has a funny way of doing it.......has fished with the auger 6 times already according to his post.....if the number HAD been called, Todd would have had his auger well before any of those six fishing trips...tough guy!» Read more
