Lake Erie Walleye FishingHad a chance to slip out and do a little walleye fishing with
Scott Miller of Javafish Charters. The First Mate of the
trip was Ryan Schley. Who I discovered got a job as a first mate thru
Greatmich.com by posting on the board. The weather was excellent and
the company that we kept was too. I invited Mike Gangler and his
brother in law Tom Crampton. Mike has gone with me before on a charter
in the Niagara River in -20 below. Scott was excellent to fish with, he
let us help with the rods and help with running the lines to the
boards. I don't know how many fish we caught before we limited out, but
it was a ton. I honestly think I personally only caught a couple of the
keepers. Tom seem to have the hand at getting the keepers on board. We ran body baits on boards, running at about 80-100 feet
behind the clip. Scott was focused and sharp as to what was going
on, and was constantly making adjustments. We finished at noon,
and I was on the road by 1:30pm with my fillets. Get a hold of
