Lake Erie Walleye Fishing

Had a chance to slip out and do a little walleye fishing with Scott Miller of  Javafish Charters. The First Mate of the trip was Ryan Schley. Who I discovered got a job as a first mate thru Greatmich.com by posting on the board. The weather was excellent and the company that we kept was too. I invited Mike Gangler and his brother in law Tom Crampton. Mike has gone with me before on a charter in the Niagara River in -20 below. Scott was excellent to fish with, he let us help with the rods and help with running the lines to the boards. I don't know how many fish we caught before we limited out, but it was a ton. I honestly think I personally only caught a couple of the keepers. Tom seem to have the hand at getting the keepers on board.

We ran body baits on boards, running at about 80-100 feet behind the clip.  Scott was focused and sharp as to what was going on, and was constantly making adjustments.  We finished at noon, and I was on the road by 1:30pm with my fillets.  Get a hold of Scott Miller of  Javafish Charters .
