Wolf Lake?

Has anybody checked the ice yet on the Wolf? I really hope the cold weather this week gets us goin for the weekend, this is killin me. I've got the itch so bad right now as I'm out the garage sipping on a ice cold mug of fat tire, sitting in my new Clam fish trap pro with my new jigging rods, looking onto a 6 gal bucket of water with minnows in it that I let the top freeze over last night, so I could set up my new x67 ice machine and try to mark something.

Wolf lake is near Muskegon on the west side. I drove by and saw some guys out there I'm sure some of them have read this post, apparently they want to hog the fish to themselves and wont report on ice conditions?

Well thanks for the updates guys. I went out last night and started drilling in my usual good spot and fell through losing my new x67 and soaking my iphone. Thrilled I was not to say the least!

Dont feel to bad because I went through yesterday on muskegon. I did not loose anything because I usually try to throw whatever I have in my hands when I feel that bottom fall out.

I was just kidding perchy pat. I was saying that because NOBODY wants to tell us what the ice conditions are on Wolf lake and i dont want to fall in like you did. 226reads and nobody wants to tell about wolf?

Sometimes you have to do what the rest of us do...I was out on the lake you are asking about. What I'm saying is sometimes we just have to get our own first hand look. ...The fish have been running small even if you find 'em...

When were you out there?
I find it ironic that you care to report now that the ice is going away, but you were nowhere to be found when you were filling your buckets with perch. :(

Persistent guy you are. We pulled limits threw the hole a couple weeks ago we plan to go back and fill buckets after the next couple cold nights to check on the ice again. Make your own reports and you will not regret it. If you are still selling that flasher Robo Cop I will take it off from hands for the rite price.
