Weekend Ice Fishing

It is Friday and I cannot wait until I get out of work. I will be on the ice all weekend chasing bluegill and specks. I can taste them already and I am hours away from wetting a line. Who else is getting out on the ice this weekend?

Try staking your shanty down next time. I went out on 2 different spots this wekend and was cleaning house on the perch and blueeeze. one of my chest freezers is almost half full already and I have not gotten to my walleye hot spots yet.

i was out this weekend, but don't have much to show for except some broken rods. set my shanty up in the wind and thought i had it froze to the ice only to step out for a leak and watch it blow and tumble 200 yards across the lake. when i finally caught up two of my frabill ice rods had snapped! and my minnows were spred across the ice. hope for better weahter ahead. titelines.
