the rifle river is starting to heat up for suckers. 3 of us got over 2o this past weekend along river road. half a crawler on the bottom anchored and 3 rods apiece setting in my custom made y sticks made for stedy action. should be good fishin this week if you want to do some suckerin.

It's still a bit early yet for really big numbers but some nice ones have been caught, including a 22.5" 4lb+ pig white sucker. After this warm rain hits tommorrow, it should be killer!

I cant wait to take the trek over there this spring it will be good to have the freezer and canning jars filled again.if you have never been you should go and enjoy the good times and awsome fishing.

Wow that sounds like an excellent weekend. I would be happy with 5 or 6 suckers for the grill. If you have never had it you should do yourself a favor and lather some sucker chunks with some Porkys Rub and then drench them in your favorite BBQ sauce.
