Forgot one thing. Guys on the pier were hooking fish left and right Monday right in the midddle of the day on live alewives hooking them through the back and throwing them on the bottom. Sherrif had to get out of the boat onto the pier and break up something yup at the end Monday evening..........and they were not even using lead core. Good fishing to all.

Here is latest and greatest up to date Ludington report including the PM Lake.........!! We just got home last night from fishing there and Manistee since last Friday. The fishing is very slow most of the time and the point is included in this. The bite is slow even through the early a.m. although we saw signs of it picking up on Wednesday morning before we left. The fish are in the harbor mouth but hit only at 8:45 p.m. until dark. Get all you can in that 15 minute period. This was the best bite anywhere you were at dusk. The are some fish in the PM Lake by the ferry and along the CG station. They are catching fish straight out in 70-100 ft. in the top 45 feet. Manistee has fish right on the drop and in the harbor mouth. Lots of fights going on over lead core. Dipsy rigs worked best for us. Coasties asked me if I had a noise maker and I asked them to pull my finger. Great weather, great time!

Walleye Predator, Fish are starting to show up in PM. Friend went 6 for 6 on an evening fish with his son. Last weekend it looked like all the fish were at the south end of the lake. Good Luck.

Out of Frankfort and went both North and South starting at 6:30AM. Fished in 60ft to 200ft and found nothing North. South of Hering hole got one 10lb king, at 1:00PM down 29ft in 85ft of water on Natural Born Killer. Water temp on surface was 57 degrees. Marked much more fish in 60 to 80ft depths. Got four nice kings 9 days ago in Manistee. Tried fishing 20 to 85ft down today with spoons, flys, and plugs, not sure where all the fish are. Good Luck.

Anyone catching Salmon in P.M. lake yet? Hoping to get out this weekend if there's any fish to be caught. We had alota fun up there last year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey greg elmet I fished this area last week when the waves get big try fishing the bay out of glen arbor there is a launch there right in bay and usually the cold water an fish get pushed in there this is usually were smaller boats fish cause the bay is blocked by manitou island hope this helps.
