Fished out of Ludington on Saturday and Sunday. Out best bite was at sun-up, in 70 to 120 FOW. running orange glow spoons, about 55 to 75 down. We tryed to be between the bathhouse and the stick, when the sun peered over the curtain. We did do a lil chuming on saturday as it got a little bit lumpy later in the morning. But all in all it was a great weekend to spend with my son and his friend, they did all the cranking. Summer is short get out there and enjoy it--make a memory

Had five hits tonight, 2 in 100 FOW and 3 in 60 FOW. Only boated one fish. Good baits were Blue Bubble flasher/fly on dipsy 180 back and NBK 50 down on rigger. Anyone else having a hard time keeping fish hooked up lately?

Fishing has been very good in Manistee. Fish today came in front of the harbor and on the shelf. Fish in front of the harbor came on 3 and 4 color leadcore, 50 foot out on Slide Diver Lite Bites and 15-20 on riggers pulling Silver Horde Ace High plugs in Pearl, Green Spatter Back, and Blue Spatter Back. Fish on the shelf straight out and a little south came in 60-120 feet with riggers set at 30-45 leadcore 5-10 colors and slide divers 70-120 out. Plugs were also best out here with flashers taking a few. The best spot seems to be from the 5s to the 8s but I do not want to spend the gas to get there and the fishing out in front is good enough with our last 4 trips bringing in 12, 14, 12 and 11 fish.
