fished betsie river tuesday p.m and wednesday a.m i to notice alot of dead fish in the river system but me and my buddy caught alot of fish,fished out of frankfort sunday and monday in front 30 to 50ft. of water 13 to 20 down went 12 for 15 best lure silver streak yellow tail could not keep the fish off that lure other lures that worked green j-plugs off riggers tons of fish in the harbor to the gragh was filled with fish and fish jumping everywhere

fished today from 5:30-10:30 AM, NO fish, only saw 2 fish taken in the big water all morning. At the boat launch ( (Snug Harbor on Muskegon Lake) most anglers had no fish with a few catching 1 per boat. This was our 4th trip in the last 2 weeks, no fish landed, and only had 2 on. fished 2 mornings and 2 evenings. Best advice this year is: fish a different port. IT aint happenin here!

I agree with John, I was at the walk in public access, I agree with the elbows and aW#FADA,s but the fish were crankin by us, pods of 10-15 were the norm. I also limited out very quickly each day.. Id say we are at peak right now.

Frankfort was a blast this weekend just outside the pier heads. In 30-60ft of water anywhere from 15ft to 8ft on the ball. Jplugs were the best producer green with black ladder back. Copper setup was the best catching 60% of the fish. Caught 19 fish keeping 8 Silver ones. Let the spawners back in. No way my family and I could possibly eat that many in a year.
