I bottom fish em when using sponge. Tie a hook about 6-8" above a sinker and put on the hook a little square piece of sponge. I always got mine at the only store in omer, they sold bags of little peices of sponge for the suckers for cheap, better than cutting one up yourself. Hope this helps.
